On
this 4 days safari, you will visit both Ngorongoro Crater
and Tarangire National Park. The crater, a true wonder of
the natural world, famous for its sunken caldera formed over
a million years ago. It is inhabited in harmony by indigenous
Maasai, their livestock as well as a startling variety of
plant, animal and birdlife species. Tarangire Park, on the
other hand the main refuge for wildlife from the surrounding
part of the Great Rift Valley during the dry season Accommodation
is at Sopa Lodges. Departures: Daily, minimum 2 persons.
Day 1. Arusha/Ngorongoro:
Lunch at Impala Hotel Arusha then proceed to Ngorongoro crater
rim. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Approx
Transit time: 4 hrs. Meal plan: {L, D}
Day 2. Ngorongoro:
After breakfast descend down to the crater floor for ½
day crater tour, returning to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for lunch.
Afternoon at leisure with optional visit to a local Maasai
village. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Meal Plan: {B,
L, D} Pls note: Only ½ day tours may be allowed at
the crater.
Day 3. Tarangire Nat. Park:
After breakfast depart for Tarangire, arriving in time for
lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire
Sopa Lodge. Approx Transit time: 2 hrs Meal plan: {B, L, D}
Day 4. Arusha/Out:
Drive back to Arusha after breakfast with game drive en route.
Lunch at Impala Hotel.
